Dr. Julian Goldman, one of our faculty members, was featured on NBC’s Top Story segment with Tom Llamas. This NBC story on virtual ICUs looks at the impact of the remote control of ventilators, IV pumps, and other equipment to enhance virtual ICU capabilities. Dr. Goldman is an anesthesiologist at Massachusetts General Hospital and is the Medical Director of Biomedical Engineering for Mass General Brigham. This segment demonstrates the technology developed to monitor vitals, communicate with healthcare teams, and view rooms in real-time. “We’re looking at something that’s changing in real-time, and we will start to see this adopted more and more in the coming months and years,” says Dr. Goldman.
