Introducing HIRO: A New Era in Accelerating Clinical Trials

We are excited to announce a new chapter in our journey!

As we continuously strive to shape the future of healthcare innovation and research, CIDH is transitioning to serve the broader Mass General Brigham system under two new programs: Mass General Brigham Hospital Integrated Research Organization (HIRO) and Mass General Brigham Emerging Technologies and Solutions (MGBETS).

Mass General Brigham’s HIRO is a new initiative that employs data, technology, and operational expertise to accelerate the clinical trial process and improve clinical studies. HIRO focuses on strategic partnerships with industry that provide mutual value, advance MGB’s mission, and support our research community to promote effective treatments and cures for our patients. Our sponsor program leverages MGB’s research data platform and includes access to concierge services and our extensive network of expert clinician-investigators to deliver cost-effective, transformative, patient-centered clinical trials.

Introducing MGBETS: Transforming the future of healthcare

Mass General Brigham Emerging Technologies Solutions (MGBETS) is at the forefront of digital health innovation, driving the adoption and evaluation of cutting-edge technologies within Mass General Brigham. The program oversees three domains: enhancing clinical and operational solutions, fostering a collaborative digital health community, and accelerating digital research activities. With a focus on improving patient care, streamlining healthcare operations, and supporting digital innovation in research, MGBETS is dedicated to transforming the future of healthcare at Mass General Brigham.
